Johnnie Delta Racing (referred to as JDR) offers ownership shares and free lease shares in racehorses

Jim Goldie trains all JDR horses

Jim Goldie makes all decisions regarding where and when all JDR horses run

Owners are entitled to a return of their percentage share of the prize money won by their horse / horses

Prize money to owners is distributed annually at the end of January each year

Training fees are fixed at £80 per calendar month per 5% share, payable in advance each month or annually

Fees include: Training costs, Feed, Veterinary, Travel to races

Fees do not include: Entry Fees & Jockey Fees

Training fees are spread out over a rolling year at £80pcm (per 5% share) and are payable every month – All owners  (both ownership & free lease) must be existing jdr owners and be fully paid up till the end of December in fees to receive a prize money dividend

The horse will be valued at end of year if it has not been sold at sale or claiming or selling race, owners may not be refunded before end of year unless the horse has been sold and fees must be fully paid up till end of year or when it has been sold.

Owners can reserve owners’ badges to attend racing when their horse runs via The Owners’ Lounge on the JDR website or by phone, text or email

Owners’ Badges will, on occasion, be subject to a supplementary charge and this will be stiplutated in The Owners’ Lounge booking and reservation area, where applicable: In General Supplementary Charges will be applied to the “high profile meetings” eg: Ayr Gold Cup, Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood, The Epsom Oaks & Derby Meeting etc

Owners can also request badges for race meetings where their horse is not running, if another JDR horse is running. JDR will endeavour to accommodate all requests for badges. Occasionally, a charge may apply for these badges, if JDR has to purchase additional badges from the racecourse

Attendance in the parade ring and winners’ enclosure is exclusive to the owners and guests of the horse running in that particular race

JDR owners must adhere to the strict health and safety rules which each course operates

Before each raceday JDR will liase with each course to determine how many JDR owners can enter the parade ring and winners’ enclosure

This will fluctuate dependant on such factors as:
- the size of the paddock
- the number of horses in any given race

JDR Owners (including free lease) with a minimum 5% share in any JDR horse may apply for membership of ROA Scotland. One of the benefits of ROA membership is free access to all but a few race meetings in Scotland throughout the year. Membership is £230 per annum (as of November 2014)

JDR owners should, at all times, show courtesy to the trainer, the jockey and all racecourse officials

JDR owners are entitled to benefit from discounted racecourse hospitality arranged by JDR

JDR owners can attend Libohill Farm Stables by arrangement and will also be invited to attend on JDR Owner’ days

JDR owners will receive text alerts as follows:

Owners must be aged 18 or over

Anyone who is currently “warned off” racecourses in the UK by the BHA cannot be an owner with JDR

JDR Owners or their friends and family should not “lay” any JDR horses. The BHA has clear guidlelines on this on their website
